LSPRB Meeting of September 4, 2014 dedicated to finding a
solution to the "Edmonson Amendment" of SB-294
(Act 859 of the 2014 Louisiana Legislature)

LSPRB Member (and State Treasurer) John Kennedy is
interviewed by reporters immediately after the LSPRB meeting
regarding resolving the "Edmonson Amendment."

As evidenced by the preceding interview of Treasurer Kennedy, he indicated a firm resolve to file a lawsuit as an individual taxpayer (with him paying the cost from his own pocket) to resolve the matter once and for all.  Louisiana State Sen. Dan Claitor, R-Baton Rouge (and candidate for the 6th Congressional District in Louisiana), who was interviewed in Act XII of this play, and who spoke during the public comment segment of the first video, beat Treasurer Kennedy to the punch, however, in issuing this press release with accompanying lawsuit, which was filed in 19th JDC and assigned to Judge Janice Clark.
